We had great fun playing on Saturday for Warwick Streets' 200th
Birthday. We had some reservations about the weather, but in true Bamboo
fashion the sun came out for us, and also for Russ Bravo who played a
fab set of his self penned songs.

He introduced me in turn to a jovial bearded songwriting chappie called Peter Bradford. They asked me whether I wanted to sing middle or top in a 'busked' 3 part harmony............

Our percussionist Dave Prowter has been missing from the band since late 2002 when he headed off to Andalucia in an old Mercedes van.

About the Band
An always-colourful, often-chaotic calypso carnival, The Bamboo Band are one of the South Coast's most unusual and entertaining live acts.
